MSc/Dip/Cert in Pain Management

Funding

Limited funding has been generously been provided by Pfizer, NAPP, Grunenthal UK and Janssen-Cilag Ltd. There are two sources of funding available:

  1. Bursaries – these are distributed on a needs basis to deserving students who show potential for academic success and who can demonstrate a clinical application of the knowledge gained during the programme. If you wish to apply for a bursary, please write a letter addressed to Dr Sarah Henderson, Programme Coordinator, providing some indication of the use and clinical application of the knowledge you hope to gain during your time on the programme. This letter can be uploaded to the EUCLID system at the time of application.

  2. Essay Prize – the topic for this year’s essay prize is “Discuss the influences and effects of the expression of pain within a multicultural society”. The essay topic is deliberately broad to enable all potential applicants to attempt an essay submission. The essay is to be no more than 2000 words in length. If you wish to apply for the essay prize, please upload your essay to the EUCLID system at the time of application.
